Umrah Visa Update for 2024:
In a recent announcement, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah disclosed that individuals holding permanent residency status in the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), and United States (US) will now be able to perform Umrah without the need to apply for a separate Umrah visa.
Officials from the Hajj and Umrah ministry emphasized that this new measure is aimed at enhancing the Umrah pilgrimage process and improving service quality, aligning with the goals outlined in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Under the new regulations, eligible Umrah aspirants can conveniently schedule their pilgrimage through the Nusk app. Additionally, pilgrims will have the option to perform Umrah directly upon arrival in the Kingdom.
Furthermore, the Saudi Arabian government has introduced visa-on-arrival options for residents of various regions, allowing them to enjoy a comprehensive tourism experience while holding an Umrah visa. This inclusive policy also extends to the first-degree relatives of the visa holders.
Moreover, individuals now have the flexibility to undertake Umrah while holding a transit visa, particularly when traveling with Saudi Airlines, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom.
