The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the notification of the success of three Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) MNAs who won from the federal capital.
IHC Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued the orders, and the court suspended notification of the success of PML-N candidate Tariq Fazl Chaudhry from NA-47.
Apart from this, the court suspended the notification of the victory of PML-N’s Anjum Aqeel from NA-46 constituency, which was challenged by PTI-backed independent candidate Amir Mughal.
Moreover, the court also suspended the notification of the victory of Raja Khurram Nawaz of the PML-N from Islamabad’s constituency NA-48, which was challenged by the PTI-backed candidate Ali Bukhari.
On the other hand, in the re-counting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Constituency PK-40 Mansehra, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) candidate was declared successful.
The re-counting of 173 polling stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Constituency PK 40 Mansehra has been completed, in which the candidate of PML-N Sardar Shahjahan Yousuf has been declared successful again.
In the re-counting at 173 polling stations in the constituency, Sardar Shahjahan Yousuf got 43,014 votes, while PTI-backed independent candidate Shakoor Laghmani got 42,918 votes.
