ECP officially announces winners for 36 NA seats in KP

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has officially announced the winners for 36 National Assembly seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

In a notification released by the ECP, the successful candidates have been instructed to align themselves with a political party of their choice within the next three days.

Among the newly declared victors are Sibghatullah from NA-4 Upper Dir, Gohar Ali Khan from NA-10 Buner, and Umar Ayub from NA-18 Haripur.

The notification also confirmed the victories of Asad Qaiser in NA-19 Swabi and Shandana Gulzar in NA-30 Peshawar.

Shehryar Afridi emerged victorious in NA-35 Kohat, while Sher Afzal Marwat secured success in NA-41 Lakky Marwat.

Furthermore, the notification highlighted the wins of one member each from the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and MWM in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Notably, the province contributes 45 seats to the National Assembly, with 10 reserved for women.

Earlier, following the 2024 elections, the ECP also issued victory notifications for ten additional candidates, including nine from the PML-N.

According to the notification, Mukhtar Ahmed Malik, Ghulam Muhammad, and Qaiser Ahmed of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were declared winners from NA-82 Sargodha, NA-93 Chiniot, and NA-94 Chiniot, respectively.

Chaudhry Muhammad Shehbaz Babar was declared the winner from Faisalabad’s National Assembly seat NA-98, securing 119443 votes.
