The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Election Commission (AJKEC) has issued an arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur.

There is a case against Ali Amin Gandapur for violating the code of conduct in Azad Kashmir elections.

A letter of arrest of Ali Amin Gandapur has been issued to Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan, in which Ali Amin Gandapur has been directed to appear before the Election Commission of Azad Kashmir on February 28.

It should be remembered that the petition against Ali Amin Gandapur was filed by lawyer Raja Zulqarnain during the 2021 election.

Earlier, the PTI founder appointed Ali Amin Gandapur as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during his informal media interaction in Adiala Jail.

“I have designated Ali Amin Gandapur as KP CM, although there is no consensus on the name for the premiership yet,” quoted the PTI founder.
