LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has made the decision to establish a government in Balochistan through a coalition with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F), said sources.

The PPP has shown its willingness to lead a coalition government in the province and has approached PML-N for their support in this endeavor. However, it is reported that the Nawaz-led party has requested time for deliberation regarding the formation of the provincial government.

The majority of the elected independent candidates from Balochistan are expected to align with PPP, as per these sources.

Additionally, it is indicated that PPP intends to extend an invitation to the Baloch Nationalist Party (BNP) to participate in the government. PPP aims to nominate its candidate for the position of chief minister, while the cabinet would comprise members from the allied parties.

Sanaullah Zehri is considered a strong contender for the role of Balochistan Chief Minister, as he maintains working relationships with JUI, PML-N, and the Nationalist Party.
