Sources familiar with the matter revealed that both parties have agreed to sustain their cooperation to address issues in Sindh, particularly in urban areas.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, MQM-P Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized that the election was not merely a gathering but rather a commitment to enduring peace.

He expressed confidence that the forthcoming generations would reap the benefits of this collaboration. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui further added that the past conflicts have been put aside, and both MQM-P and ANP will now unite efforts for the progress of Karachi.

ANP Sindh President Shahi Syed said that the people of Karachi, especially the Pashtun and Urdu-speaking communities, are highly pleased with the partnership between the two parties. He credited Mustafa Kamal for initiating efforts to bridge differences.

Shahi Syed highlighted the need for the empowerment of provinces post the 18th constitutional amendment, stressing on the importance of devolving powers to the grassroots level. He affirmed that their struggle will persist until districts are granted their rightful authority.

This cooperation between MQM-P and ANP was established before the general elections, where they reached seat adjustments in various constituencies.

MQM-P supported ANP at PS-88 while receiving reciprocal support from ANP for several seats in the National and Sindh Assemblies. ANP also backed Syed Mustafa Kamal from NA-242, where he emerged victorious.
