The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience cold and dry weather on Tuesday evening/night, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The current weather situation indicates the presence of continental air across most of Pakistan. There is a shallow westerly wave expected to impact the northeastern parts of Balochistan and southern Punjab in the next 24 hours. This will result in mainly cold and dry conditions in various districts, including Peshawar, during the specified period.
Upper districts may experience freezing and partly cloudy weather with isolated rain/snowfall. Peshawar is expected to have a minimum temperature ranging between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 02-04 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
Over the past 24 hours, cold and partly cloudy weather has been observed in most districts of the province, with freezing and partly cloudy conditions in upper districts. Kalam recorded the lowest temperature in the province, dropping to 14 degrees Celsius below freezing. In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was 05 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 57 percent.
