A sigh of relief for the residents of Sindh, the government on Monday has decided to abolish Capital Value Tax.

According to the details, the Sindh government has decided to give incentives to the construction sector to boost economic activities in the province, especially in the provincial capital.

The government said this incentive for the construction sector will directly benefit 40 related industries.

The abolition of capital value tax would benefit the construction industry, the real estate sector, and other allied businesses and increase employment and business opportunities for millions of people.

Furthermore,  the government will also amend The Sindh Finance Bill, 2019, to abolish Capital Value Tax (CVT), after which it will get approved by the Sindh Assembly and will be implemented only after Governor’s approval.
