The National Savings, also known as ‘Qaumi Bachat Bank,’ provides an attractive investment opportunity for the public looking to receive monthly returns on their investments.
To cater to the monthly needs of the public, the government introduced Regular Income Certificates (RICs) with a five-year maturity period in February 1993.
These certificates are available in denominations of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 100,000, Rs. 500,000, Rs. 1,000,000, Rs. 5,000,000, and Rs. 10,000,000.
Investors receive monthly profits starting from the certificate issuance date.
Recently, National Savings announced updated profit rates, effective from January 26, 2024.
Latest Profit Rate for Regular Income Certificates
The National Savings has decreased profit rates for various investment certificates and accounts, including the Regular Income Certificates.
As per the revised policy, the profit rate on Regular Income Certificates has been decreased to 15.0 percent per annum.
The Qaumi Bachat Banks will now offer Rs1,250 per month to the investors from Feb 1.
