QUETTA: Numerous armed assaults in Chaman, Quetta, and other regions of Balochistan have resulted in the death of a political activist and injuries to four others. Unidentified assailants targeted the Awami National Party (ANP) office in Chaman, resulting in the death of ANP activist Zahoor Ahmed and injuring another worker.
In a separate incident, individuals whose identities remain unknown threw a hand grenade at the election office of the People’s Party (PPP) on Saryab Road in Quetta, causing injuries to three individuals. PPP candidate and former provincial minister Mir Ali Madad Jattak were present in the office but emerged unharmed. Another hand grenade was launched at the residence of former minister and PPP candidate Mir Zahoor Buledi in the Buleda area of Kech district, with no reported losses.
Furthermore, unidentified attackers targeted a traffic police booth on Jinnah Road in Sibbi with a hand grenade, but the police personnel at the booth were unharmed in the assault.
