The United Kingdom (UK) is gearing up to introduce an electronic visa waiver (EVW) for Saudi Arabian citizens starting February 1, 2024.
As per an official announcement, citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates can opt for the EVW instead of a traditional visa for travel to the UK after February 1.
The electronic visa waiver is specifically designed for Saudi nationals planning visits to the UK for tourism, business, study, or medical purposes, with a permissible stay of up to 6 months.
Prerequisites for the UK E-Visa include organizing essential documents:
- A valid passport
- Address details of the planned stay in the UK
- Journey particulars
This streamlined process aims to simplify visa requirements and enhance the application experience for individuals from these nations traveling to the UK.
