The temporary government in Punjab has introduced new school timings in the city due to the severe cold wave affecting the region. Punjab Chief Minister Naqvi has adjusted the schedules for both private and government schools as the temperature has dropped below average, causing thick fog in various parts of Punjab.
In a recent announcement, the Chief Minister stated that starting from January 10, 2024, classes will begin at 9:30 am. This decision is a response to the ongoing winter conditions, and the adjusted schedule will be in place from January 10th to 22nd. Naqvi also advised students to wear jackets and warm clothing to protect themselves as winter intensifies.
