The Pakistan Meteorologist Department (PMD) anticipates a continuation of cold and dry weather throughout the country, with select areas likely to experience light rain and snowfall.

Karachi is expected to endure the persisting cold conditions witnessed over the past week, recording a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius, while Hyderabad in Sindh reported the lowest temperature at 6 degrees Celsius.

The weather forecast indicates partly cloudy conditions in Punjab, with cities like Murree anticipated to receive light rain, drizzle, and light snowfall in mountainous regions. Islamabad is also expected to witness rainfall.

Regions including Chitral, Dir, Swat, and others may experience light rain in specific areas and light snowfall in mountainous terrain.

The likelihood of heavy fog is foreseen in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Peshawar, Lucky Marwat, Bannu, and nearby areas.

On the other hand, heavy smog is predicted in various cities and districts such as Bahawalpur, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, and more. Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, and other regions may also encounter smog, contributing to below-normal daytime temperatures across the province.
