Karachi: Meteorological analyst Jawad Memon says that there is no chance of rain in Sindh yet, Bol News reported on Thursday.
Due to changes in wind direction and speed, the intensity of fog is expected to decrease in Punjab.
According to Jawad Memon, a series of weak westerly winds may affect the northern regions of the country today. Rain is likely in the northern 50 to 60 percent of the country affected by the system.
He said that drizzle and light rain are also expected in southwestern Balochistan and the western parts of Punjab, while there may be light snow in some places in the mountains.
However, the meteorological analyst further added that another powerful westerly wind wave may affect Pakistan on January 28.
Earlier, there is a possibility of drizzle in different areas of Karachi this evening.
The Meteorological Department said that Karachi is likely to remain partially cloudy during the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department further added that the city is likely to be partly cloudy on Sunday and Monday, and it is likely to be cool at night.
Moreover, the minimum temperature of the city is expected to be 13 to 15 degrees Celsius, while winds will continue blowing from the north-east and south-east throughout the day.
Earlier, Karachi, the temperature stands at a pleasant 24°C, offering a warm respite in the coastal city. However, despite the apparent warmth, the air quality poses a significant concern, marked as ‘Very Unhealthy’ with an AQI of 212.
