Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid homage to intelligence based operation against terrorist in Sitan province, Bol News reported on Thursday.

In a statement issued on social media he said that salute to the team for protecting the security of Pakistan and taking action against terrorism, Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty, safety, and security.

The former premier added that action in areas outside the government’s control is important for the eradication of terrorism. Terrorists are a common foe for which regional and global cooperation is essential.

Furthermore, the PML-N president said that there is a need to work together for the eradication of terrorism and that the joint counter-terrorism system should be restored.

It should be noted that Pakistan has responded to Iran through Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar in response to the attack on Balochistan.

According to spokesperson Foreign Office (FO), Pakistan targeted the specific shelters of terrorists in Sistan province of Iran in the morning. Many terrorists were killed in Pakistan’s operation.
