Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi on Friday inaugurated a new setup of the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Center(JMICC) at Karachi.
According to the details, the Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy; Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi on Friday inaugurated a new setup of the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Center(JMICC) at Karachi.
The Spokesperson said Joint Maritime Information Coordination Center (JMICC) is a linkage between Pakistan Navy & International Information Fusion Centres & function to harmonize efforts of maritime-related organizations for safety and security in the country and the region.
In addition to this, the Spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy said the aim is to provide a corresponding response to challenges, especially in the Exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

The spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy further added that ingenuously developed Information Sharing facilities will ensure fastest communication and cooperation at the national & international levels.
