Today marks the 49th death anniversary of the youngest Nishan-e-Haider recipient Rashid Minhas. Remembering his sacrifice and valor, the DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar paid tribute to the martyr.

Taking to the official DG ISPR official Twitter account, Gen. Babar Iftikhar wrote,
“Today we remember the supreme sacrifice of Pilot officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed (Nishan-e -Haider) in the line of duty.”
He went on to write,
“Pilot officer Rashid Minhas lived up to great traditions of Pakistan Air Force serving the motherland.”

It is pertinent to mention here that the young Airforce pilot Rashid Minhas sacrificed his life for Pakistan by not listening to Pakistan’s traitor and crashed the plane.
