FAISALABAD: Former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ayesha Rajab Baloch has announced to contest the elections as an independent after not getting a ticket from the party.
It should be noted that PML-N has issued a ticket to Ayesha Rajab’s brother-in-law Ali Gohar from Tandlianwala Constituency NA 97. Ayesha Rajab Baloch has submitted nomination papers from NA-97.
In a statement, Ayesha Rajab said that the people of Tandlianwala know the sacrifice Rajab Baloch has made. She announced participate in elections to fulfill a promise made by the people of Tandlianwala.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) announced candidates for National and Provincial Assemblies for Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and other districts. Chairman Central Cell PML-N Ishaq Dar issued the ticket distribution notification.
However, PML-N has not awarded tickets to Daniyal Aziz from Narowal and Chaudhry Jafar Iqbal from Gujarat.
