Lionel Messi Argentina raised the legendary FIFA World Cup Trophy in 2022, and fans celebrated in a variety of ways, with many getting tattoos to commemorate the victory. Among them is Instagram user Mike Jambs, who went a step further and had “Messi” tattooed in large letters on his forehead. His joy, though, was fleeting. He began receiving nasty remarks on social media, to the point where he posted about how he “regrets” getting the tattoo.
On Instagram, he posted a video of himself with a caption in Spanish. “I REGRET MY MESSI TATTOO,” it says when translated.
“I am sorry I got the tattoo, because instead of bringing me positive things, it got me thousands of negative things, both personally and in the family. ‘ I didn’t think I would say this so soon. I was very proud [of it] the first few days, but I regret it. They just say that I am not a positive example for society,” he said in Spanish on the video.
