Scientists Find Lost Black-Naped Pheasant Pigeon: Viral Video

Scientists

Scientists have rediscovered the black-naped pheasant pigeon, a rare bird that was last seen nearly 140 years ago in Papua New Guinea. The bird was seen in footage captured by the study team deep in the forests of Papua New Guinea.

The chicken-sized bird is one of 20 “lost” birds that haven’t been seen in more than a century. According to Audubon Magazine, scientists have not documented the bird species since it was first named in 1882. According to the report, the research team that captured the film worked for a month, interviewing locals and setting up camera traps. They finally succeeded in September.

“It felt like finding a unicorn,” John C Mittermeier, director of the lost birds programme at the American Bird Conservancy and a co-leader of the eight-member expedition, told the BBC. “To find something that’s been gone for that long, that you’re thinking is almost extinct, and then to figure out that it’s not extinct, it feels like finding a unicorn or a Bigfoot,” he added.

BirdLife International, Rewild, and the American Bird Conservancy collaborated to create the research endeavour. The initiative’s goal is to rediscover more than 150 bird species that haven’t been seen in at least a decade but haven’t been declared extinct.

A similar attempt to rediscover the black-naped pheasant pigeon earlier this year on Fergusson Island near Papua New Guinea failed. However, the crew had the luck this year when they discovered the bird on the western slope of Mount Kilkerran, the island’s highest peak.

Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane are in trouble after reporter’s strange request

Farhan Saeed

Farhan Saeed makes his acting and producing debuts in Tich Button, as does Urwa Hocane. The movie was finished but hasn’t been released because Covid 19 happened. Tich Button overcame many obstacles, including a pandemic-related release delay, reports that producers and lead pair Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed were divorcing, cast payment troubles, and the Feroze Khan incident right before the film’s release.

Since the promotions began, Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed have been working together, but people have started to wonder if they are dating or not. Urwa Hocane even directly addressed the question, but she didn’t respond beyond saying that they both had a great deal of respect for one another. The pair was recently at a press conference for their movie when a reporter made an odd request that left them feeling quite uncomfortable.

Farhan then stepped up to manage the situation because Urwa was unable to fully comprehend the question.

Zoo shares film of 45-year-old orangutan aunt who like being silly

Zoo shares film

Are you seeking a video to brighten your day? Then there’s this video of a 45-year-old orangutan that enjoys making people laugh. The footage, which was shared on Instagram, shows the animal interacting with a couple of younger orangutans. The video is spreading joy and may make you grin as well.

The footage was shared on Instagram by the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. They also included a lengthy message praising Bonnie, an orangutan who enjoys spending time with her nephew.

“At 45 years old, Bonnie is one of the silliest orangutans you’ll ever meet! Even though her last offspring was born more than three decades ago—our very own Kiko—her maternal instinct remains strong. She is a wonderful “auntie” and playmate for Redd, and she unabashedly dotes on him. Often, she will make a squeaking vocalization to grab his attention and signify her desire to play,” they said.

“Bonnie knows how to charm the primate team, too. She will make funny vocalizations, break out some dance moves or knock on doors to get keepers’ attention. Then, she lets them know she’s ready for treats! One of her favourites is diluted fruit juice, which keepers serve in a small paper cup. If this vessel yields too small a portion for her liking, Bonnie will grab one of her enrichment buckets and hold it up to the mesh, hoping for a more generous pour!” they added.

Take a look at the video

The video was made available two days ago. The video has received over 77,000 views since it was shared. The post has also received a number of comments. “I love watching this and reading about them. How precious they are. Thank you for sharing this,” one Instagram user remarked. “Just like me playing with my niece/nephews! Being an aunt is the best!” said another. “This is so cute!! more Bonnie content,” a third said.

Putin fresh conscription push could speed a coup

Putin fresh conscription

With his failed invasion of Ukraine, bonkers tyrant Vladimir Putin is about to risk a Kremlin revolt by instituting martial law in Russia and increasing troop mobilisation.

According to reports, the tyrant Russian dictator, who is thought to be suffering from cancer and potentially other illnesses, is actively contemplating a new forced enlistment to increase the number of his army participating in the horrific eastern European war.

He has already drafted 360,000 men to supplement his one million-man regular army, but the results have been dismal.

However, another major call-up is expected in the new year as he raids offices and industries for what critics perceive as cannon fodder.

Experts believe the former KGB tyrant will try to persuade Russians that they are fighting a “popular war” to safeguard their country’s existence from a Western threat.

Former professor Valery Solovey of Moscow’s famed Institute of International Relations, a training school for spies and diplomats, predicted that the military call-up will be “more comprehensive than the last.”

“With a high degree of probability, the second stage of mobilisation will be announced after the New Year celebrations,” he stated.

Martial law is also planned to be extended beyond the territories of Ukraine occupied by Putin where it is now in effect.

According to the General SVR Telegram channel, a “second wave” of mobilisation might be imposed “simultaneously with the declaration of martial law in Moscow, that is, the second half of January or February.”

Solovey went on to say that it might lead to elements of the elite seeking public support signalling a rupture with Putin and an effort to depose him as early as next year.

However, such a revolution could result in a “noticeable worse” existence for Russians at first, possibly with a committee of security crats in command.

Baba Vanga foresaw alien attack and nuclear blackmail in 2023

Baba Vanga

Baba Vanga, a blind mystic, has made a series of terrifying prophecies for 2023, including an alien attack and a solar tsunami.

Five of the psychic’s most concerning predictions for the coming year have been made public, and if they come true, it will be a dismal year.

The Bulgarian, dubbed “the Nostradamus of the Balkans,” is alleged to have properly foreseen the 9/11 terror attacks, the Kursk submarine catastrophe in 2000, and even her own death.

Her forecasts for 2023 warn that Earth’s orbit would “alter,” and that nuclear meltdowns may occur.

Despite the fact that the famed mystic, who died in 1996, foretold a mixture of doom and gloom for the globe in the coming year, there may be a few unusual technological discoveries.

One such accomplishment is the development of lab babies, with Baba Vanga allegedly predicting that future parents will be able to choose their children’s skin colour and traits.

Her claim might mean the end of births as we know them, with characteristics and appearance selections generated in laboratories rather than through chance.

It is a more absurd prediction from the soothsayer, who also foretold some serious war issues that could result in nuclear explosions and trouble for the world’s “Dark Ages.”

Vanga predicted a nuclear power plant explosion in 2023, and her views come amid grave worries of “nuclear blackmail” from Russia toward Ukraine.

Russian troops have taken over the Zaoprizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, but whether this will coincide with Vanga’s foreboding prognosis remains to be seen.

‘The Nostradamus of the Balkans’ did, however, forecast some more bizarre problems for the planet next year, with aliens scheduled to pay a visit.

According to the psychic, if aliens invade Earth next year, the entire world would be “covered in darkness,” and millions will perish.

That cloak of darkness could potentially be part of a frightening solar storm foretold by the soothsayer, with Baba Vanga stating a solar storm as the world has never seen before.

According to the mystic, electrical charges blasting from the Sun may strike the Earth, and if that wasn’t awful enough, Vanga prophesied the use of bioweapons in 2023.

The mystic claims that a “big country” will conduct bioweapons research on people, predicting that hundreds of thousands could die as a result, according to the media source.

Hundreds of possessed sheep walk in circle for days

possessed sheep

An unsettling video of a large flock of sheep following each other around in a circle for more than ten days has surfaced online.

During the 22-second video, the cattle appear practically possessed. It was shared on the official Twitter account of People’s Daily, China’s largest newspaper and state-affiliated media source.

A soundtrack of trance-like music adds to the eerie scene, with the video published accompanying the words: “The great sheep mystery!”

“Hundreds of sheep walk in a circle for over 10 days in China’s Inner Mongolia. The sheep are healthy and the reason for the weird behaviour is still a mystery.”

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users rushed to offer their explanations for the animals’ behaviour.

One guy said that their circle was related to an unknown phenomenon seen in other parts of the world.

They stated: “The white rhino at the Nairobi national park has also been walking in circles but anticlockwise. A police station in Maragua has witnessed thousands of bats flying above the station for 2 days in a row day and night.”

Others contended that, as the cliché goes, sheep are natural followers, with one remarking: “Sheep have a strong instinct to follow the sheep in front of them. When one sheep decides to go somewhere, the rest of the flock usually follows, even if it is not a good ‘decision’.”

“This instinct is ‘hard-wired’ into sheep. It’s not something they ‘think’ about.'”

“That’s because they are sheep, they all follow the one in front of them and once they got into the circle formation they just couldn’t stop since there’s always one in front of every one of them,” another agreed.

People were more concerned about the sheep’s well-being, with one claiming, “They’re infected with listeria.”

Meanwhile, another comment read: “Maybe those sheep need more space to graze or it is a symptom of anxiety. Some animals when they feel anxiety begin to have behaviours similar to these, walking aimlessly or in a loop.”
