Infinix launches Note 12i 2022 with latest specs

Despite the fact that the Note 12i’s original release was in the same year, Infinix has released a 2022 edition of the device.

The Note 12i 2022 features a redesigned look, improved screen specifications, and more RAM choices. It is still priced the same as the original.

A redesign of the primary camera has been made. It now rests on a sizable, polished camera island, and the back panel is finished with texturing.

A 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution has replaced the earlier model’s 6.82-inch IPS LCD. Since the refresh rate is not specified, it is fair to presume that it is 60Hz.

The fingerprint reader is now offset.

There are new memory configurations available, including 4 GB/64 GB and 6 GB/128 GB, but the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC remains unaltered.

A microSD card and virtual RAM expansion are also ways to increase storage and RAM, respectively.

The 5,000 mAh battery is still present, but for speedy top-ups, the 18W fast charging has been upgraded to 33W.

A 50MP primary camera sensor, a 2MP depth lens, and a QVGA unit are all located on the back of the device.

We assume that new model is also capable of recording 1080p video because the first model was. An 8MP camera is used for taking selfies.

$150 will be the starting price for the Infinix Note 12i 2022, which will come in Blue, Black, and White colour variants.

Samsung phones still exploding?

Exploding smartphones brought on by dead batteries are not uncommon.

The most notorious device in this regard was perhaps Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, which also led to new safety regulations for critical environments like aeroplanes.

According to tech YouTuber MrWhoseTheBoss, Samsung’s bad reputation for exploding cellphones seems to be here to stay.

Arun Maini, a YouTuber, discovered that the batteries in several Samsung devices he owned had suddenly enlarged.

Some of them had even burst into flames from the back, leaving the phone entirely burned.

Both new and old phones, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S10, and others, experienced this.

The important thing, in this case, was that only Samsung phones had burst, with no indication that phones from other brands had been harmed.

These phones were only seldom used for battery testing, reviews, and unboxing videos.

The phones sat idle on shelves for the remainder of the period, with their screens off.

Approaching Samsung

When the YouTuber informed Samsung of his discoveries, the corporation demanded that he deliver it every broken phone.

After that, Maini made numerous attempts to contact Samsung but was always met with the response, “we will get back to you when we get new updates.”

This went on for several weeks.

Maini contacted other tech-related YouTubers who also own a variety of cellphones. The fact that numerous of their Samsung phones had exploded was confirmed.

In comparison to other brands, Samsung phones had this issue far more frequently.

JerryRigEverything on YouTube outlined the underlying cause of this problem.

According to his idea, while the phone is not in use, the electrolyte substance in the battery slowly evaporates over time.

As a result, a gas is produced, creating swelling that eventually breaks through and destroys the battery entirely.

Even though it seems like the risk mainly applies to recently inactive phones, the situation is nevertheless concerning.

Therefore, we advise checking on any old Samsung phones you may have laying around.

Over time, practically every other social app has been inspired by TikTok’s dominance of the social media market.

Reels were introduced by Instagram and Facebook, Shorts were introduced on YouTube’s platform, and now Twitter is joining the game with its own vertical video style.

The social media behemoth has revealed in a brand-new blog post that it will enhance the “immersiveness” of its video player.

Similar to TikTok or Instagram Reels, tapping a video will now make it full screen and allow you to scroll through it to view more.

The Explore page on Twitter will also get a video carousel that displays “some of the most popular videos being shared on Twitter.” This should increase everyone’s access to these vertical videos.

The blog post states that videos on the Explore tab are “already available to individuals in select countries” for Android and iOS users and that vertical videos will begin to appear in the Twitter app for iOS in the coming days.

As a result, Pakistan should also be able to purchase it this month.

For Instagram and YouTube, Reels and YouTube Shorts have been fairly successful, but it’s unclear how Twitter will fare.

Twitter has never prioritized text-based submissions, in contrast to its competitors, thus it is uncertain how vertical videos would do on the bird app.

In related news, Twitter is finally developing the coveted tweet edit button. The bad news is that it will initially only be accessible to Twitter Blue subscribers who have paid for it.

There isn’t yet confirmation that it will eventually be accessible to everyone, although that possibility exists.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has unveiled a prototype of the Optimus humanoid robot. With its autopilot driver assistance system available on its cars, Tesla provides some of its AI software and sensors.

It was also the first time Optimus operated without a tether on stage, according to Musk, who claims that it will be able to accomplish far more than what was demonstrated live.

The CEO continued, “Optimus is built for mass manufacturing to be created in millions, which makes it different from previous amazing humanoid robots.”

The robot entered the stage first and performed the “raise the roof” dance motion. A few videos showing Optimus performing additional jobs, like as picking up boxes, are also provided by the company.

Later, the Tesla team unveiled a new prototype of Optimus that was “quite near to production,” with its body fully constructed but not yet fully functional.

Although it could wave to the crowd, Musk claimed that it wasn’t yet ready to walk. According to reports, the robot was ready in just six months.

It boasts Wi-Fi and LTE connection, a 2.3kWh battery pack, and a Tesla SoC. The presentation concentrated on how the robot moved its hands and joints, demonstrating how it analysed data for each joint.

In the future, this should enable the robot to pick up tiny parts with a precise grip.

According to Musk, production may begin as early as next year, and future uses could include cooking, gardening, and other things.

According to him, the assembly line and production operations of the corporation would undergo a revolution. Its pricing could be “likely less than $20,000.”

Barnes described how he was on the verge of joining Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie in the lauded Disney+ series. Unfortunately, when the chance presented itself, filming for Shadow and Bone was just about to begin.

“Kari Skogland, who’s directing every episode of Falcon and Winter Soldier, directed every episode of a miniseries I did call Sons of Liberty where I played Sam Adams…” shared Barnes. “And she actually messaged me saying she was doing Winter Soldier and that there might be a character for me in it. And I was just about to do Shadow and Bone so I didn’t even know what it might be, and I still don’t know really…”

Barnes is currently featured in Netflix’s Shadow and Bone series, which is an adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s novel of the same name. Barnes plays the dark character of General Kirigan.

According to the publication, it is highly unlikely that Barnes would reprise his role from The Punisher — as Disney has been hesitant to mix former Netflix properties with their own. However, Barnes may have played one of Karli Morgenthau’s (Erin Kellyman) insurrectionist Flag Smashers.
