Kourtney Kardashian talks about why she and her husband Travis Barker ended their IVF attempt.

The 43-year-old, who had previously revealed her want to have a child with her boyfriend, struggled to get pregnant during the first season of The Kardashians on Hulu.

The mother-of-three has now chosen celibacy with Barker in order to purify her body.

During the chat with WSJ, Kourtney said: “We started an IVF journey, but I stopped. It was a lot. I took a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married.”

She said: “You may have seen it on our show. It’s all these things you can’t do: No sex, no caffeine, no alcohol, no sugar. You’ve gotta eat this really clean, strict diet and you do it for five days.”

Kourtney explained: “It’s to reset your body. You do all of that – and it’s cleaning out [the toxins from] your tissues. And then you go into this spa and do treatments every day for four hours.

“Everything is very ritualistic and has a purpose, and it’s fascinating. I was doing it mostly for cleansing my body [in preparation to] hopefully have a baby.”

In lust of power Imran can’t see country, people submerged in floods: Marriyum

Imran

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday castigated PTI Chairman Imran Khan saying that he was unable to see the country and people submerged in floods as he only wanted to see himself back in power.

In a statement, the minister said that Imran Khan’s real problem was his personal ego, arrogance, self-righteousness, lust for power, and corruption.
She said Imran Khan should first decide what was his problem foreign conspiracy, real freedom, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), or NRO for corruption.

The minister alleged that the PTI leadership did not want real freedom, but an NRO for what she called their “real corruption”.

There was no foreign conspiracy, but they want NRO for their “real conspiracy of foreign funding”, she maintained.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said Imran Khan’s aim was not a general election but the closure of corruption cases against him.

Imran Khan was asking for NRO by threatening and using abusive language, she said adding that the PTI chairman was also seeking NRO for Farah Gogi and Bushra Bibi.

She said Imran Khan was a sick, defeated mentality and a corrupt person who was a liar, egoist, and selfish bigot who was asking for NRO in foreign funding of the PTI.

She said that the CEC had committed no sin, he only announced the verdict in the foreign funding case, which had been pending for 8 years.

Pakistan’s flood situation becoming threatening, Masood Khan says; urges more int’l help

Masood Khan calls Pakistani-American physicians ‘valuable asset’

WASHINGTON: With the flood situation in Pakistan becoming increasingly menacing, Ambassador Masood Khan has urged the world community to step up their help to enable Islamabad to cope with the climate-induced disaster that has left behind a trail of destruction.

“Since these floods are a direct consequence of deadly climate change, we would hope that the international community, particularly the developed countries and the United Nations, will step forward to give climate support to Pakistan,” he said in an interview with TRT, a Turkish broadcaster, adding that the cumulative damage of climate change would be astronomical.

“It is a very difficult situation; we have disasters within the mega disaster; we have water-borne diseases, displaced people, with crops and cattle destroyed,” the Ambassador said.

Noting that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had put the estimated cost for the total loss and damages at more than $30 billion, he said, while Pakistanis have resorted to their resourcefulness to cope with the calamity, “We can’t do it alone and therefore appealed to the international community to help us.”

Masood Khan thanked the UN chief for his visit to Pakistan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for leading the effort to mobilize the Turkish government and society to support the affected Pakistani people, the Ambassador said that while they (Pakistanis) have resorted to their resourcefulness to cope with the disaster, “We can’t do it alone and, therefore, appealed to the international community to help us.”

Pakistan, he said, was vulnerable even before the floods as it was facing food insecurity issues due to situation in Ukraine. “We were trying to scramble our economy towards viability and we were succeeding. But now there is this huge disruption.”
