Shahid Afridi Celebrates First Birthday Of Daughter Arwa

Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has celebrated the first birthday of his youngest daughter Arwa.

Arwa was born in February 2020. Afridi often shares pictures with her. Afridi has 5 daughters, Aqsa, Ansha, Ajwa, Asmara, and Arwa.

Taking to social media, Boom Boom Afridi shared beautiful pictures of the event and wrote,

“Happy 1st Birthday to the youngest of my girls, Arwa. MashaAllah you’ve brought our family so much happiness in such a short time.”

“I pray Allah SWT gives you & all our children the best of everything-love you to the moon & back,” he added.

As it was valentine’s day, Arwa’s birthday theme revolved around the day of love. The angel was wearing a red frock while Afridi wore a black kurta.

Earlier, Afridi was overjoyed to see Arwa walking on her own for the very first time. Taking to social media, the Pakistani cricketer shared a video of his daughter, taking her first baby steps.

He wrote,

Government Decides Not To Increase Salaries Of 18 Departments

The government has decided not to increase the salaries of 18 departments, even after it had approved a 25 percent increase in the salaries of other government departments.

According to the details, the decision will not result in a 25% increase in the salaries of 326,745 employees moreover, the salaries of the employees of the departments receiving extra allowances will also not be increased.

After this decision, the salaries of the employees of the Presidency, Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Senate, and National Assembly will not be increased. Employees of the FBR, health department, NAB, higher judiciary, and federal police will also be deprived of salary increases.

Moreover, the salaries of employees of the Motorway Police, Airport Security Force, Intelligence Bureau, ISI, and FIA will not be increased. Similarly, the salaries of the employees of the Law and Justice Commission, Parliamentary Affairs Division, and Islamabad Model Police are not being increased by 25%.

Earlier a statement was issued by the Ministry of Finance, ad hoc relief would be given to Grade 1 to Grade 19 employees. Employees of the Federal Secretariat and related agencies will be involved.

The statement said that federal employees will get 25% ad hoc relief on their basic 2017 salaries, effective March 1, 2021.

The statement also said that employees in grades 1 to 16 would be upgraded on the lines of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. The time scale pattern will be given in the next budget, a summary of 25 percent ad hoc relief to federal government employees will be approved by the federal cabinet.

Pakistan has won the third and the last T20I against South Africa by 4 wickets played on Sunday in Lahore. 

As the #pawrihorhihai video is trending on different social media platforms, cricketer Hassan Ali has mimicked the video in the most hilarious way after winning the series.

He can be heard saying,

“Yeh Main Hun, Yeh Meri Team Hai, Aur Hum Series Jeet Gaye Hain Aur Hum Pawry Kar Rahay Hain.” [This Is Me, This Is My Team, We Have Won The Series, And We Are Partying]

 

The green shirts managed to win the match against proteas by four wickets with eight balls to spare.

Before that, South Africa set a 165-run target for Pakistan to chase in the last T20I played in Lahore on Sunday.

The Proteas made 164 runs at a loss of eight wickets. The top scorers were David Miller (85 not out) and Janneman Malan (27).

Zahid Mahmood, who made his debut in today’s match emerged as the top wicket-taker by taking three wickets. Two each wicket were taken by Mohammad Nawaz and Hasan Ali. Usman Qadir also took one.
