Priyanka Chopra finally uploaded a photo of Malti’s face via Instagram on Sunday morning. She took a selfie while holding her close, showcasing Malti’s adorable face and pink onesie. She appeared to be in bed with a naked Nick in a later image, clutching Malti close to her while covering her face with her hand.

Islamabad leopard incident angers social media users

Several people in Pakistan don’t appear to comprehend the requirement to ensure the safety of the neighborhood’s residents as well as the wellbeing of the animals.

While the majority of people dislike having dogs and think it’s cruel, certain people prioritise their entertainment. The country of Pakistan most recently witnessed another instance of animal abuse in Islamabad.

A leopard that belonged to a DHA resident went on the rampage and attacked a few individuals on Friday afternoon.

Instead of arresting IK, the government should arrest His Majesty General Retd Akram Raja of St.4 Sector D, DHA Islamabad, who let his pet leopard kill one guard and injure 3 others.

Japan’s new rocket H3 fails to launch

The national space agency said Friday’s launch of Japan’s next-generation rocket failed due to an ignition issue.

The H3 rocket, JAXA’s 2001 H-IIA model’s successor, was scheduled to launch mid-morning from Tanegashima Space Centre in southwestern Japan.

“It appears that we failed to light the two solid rocket boosters, after successfully starting the main liquid engines,” JAXA spokesman Nobuyoshi Fujimoto told AFP.

News footage showed the spaceship sitting stationary on its launch pad as white smoke from its main engines indicated a successful ignition.

Fujimoto said the agency would investigate and reschedule the Friday launch, which has been postponed multiple times.

The H3 rocket was designed for more commercial launches, cost efficiency, and reliability.

JAXA has had other launch failures.

The agency had to self-destruct its solid-fuel Epsilon rocket after takeoff in October. It launched satellites for technology demonstrations.

Russian defense official Marina Yankina dies after falling from 16th floor window

Marina Yankina was found by a passerby at the front door of a house on Zamshina Street in St. Petersburg. She was the head of the financial support department for the Eastern Military District of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

People think that Yankina fell 160 feet to her death. According to the news report, she was a key figure in getting money for Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine. The Russian Investigative Committee and the press service of the Western Military District “Fontanka” have confirmed that she is dead and are looking into how she fell. This was reported by The DailyMail.

The 16th floor of the building was where her things were found. The news article said that Yankina had called her ex-husband and told him what she planned to do. It got this information from the website Mash on Moika.

Giant dinosaur footprint discover in UK’s Yorkshire

Scientists all over the world are excited about a major paleontological find in the UK county of Yorkshire. It is a nearly meter-long (3.3 feet) footprint of a large (probably meat-eating) dinosaur that was found in Burniston Bay near the town of Scarborough, on what is called the UK’s “dinosaur coast.” The footprint is thought to be the biggest of its kind in the area. It will be shown at the Rotunda Museum in the town.

An American news station, says that the footprint was found in April 2021 by a local researcher named Marie Woods. “I just couldn’t believe what I saw… I had to take a second look. When I was out with friends, I saw a few smaller prints, but nothing like this. I can’t say anymore that archaeologists don’t study dinosaurs “Woods said this to a local news station.

She talked to the fossil experts in the area, but none of them knew the trail she was talking about. Then she contacted Dr. Dean Lomax, a palaeontologist and honorary visiting scientist at the University of Manchester. “Marie called me while she was on the beach with the fossil in front of her,” said Lomax, who wrote a study with Woods that came out Tuesday in the Proceedings of the Yorkshire Geological Society.

Scientists who looked at the footprint Woods found think it was made by a big carnivore like a Megalosaurus. Lomax said that the shape of the print and how the claws dug into the ground show that the animal was sitting or squatting before it stood up.

“The most interesting thing about our footprint is a long piece that is still there at the back of the foot. This is an impression of the metapodium, which is the back of the foot. The presence could mean that our big meat-eater sat down in the mud and then got up and walked away.”

Geologist John Hudson from the area says that the find is more proof that meat-eating dinosaurs lived in this part of the world during the Jurassic period.

If the print is of a Megalosaurus, it would have been one of the largest predators of its time. It had a big head with sharp, serrated teeth, and CNN said that its body was between 26 and 29 feet long, or between 8 and 9 metres.

China declares “victory” over COVID-19 with zero-COVID policy

China’s senior officials declared a “decisive triumph” over Covid-19, claiming the world’s lowest fatality rate, although experts have questioned Beijing’s data as the coronovirus tore across the country after mainly being kept at bay for three years.

China abruptly abandoned its zero-Covid policy in early December, with 80% of its 1.4 billion population being infected, a key government expert stated last month.

Though there were widespread stories of filled hospital rooms and mortuaries, China recorded only about 80,000 Covid deaths in hospitals in the two months after lifting its limitations.

Other analysts claim the actual toll was significantly greater, as many patients die at home and doctors were widely known to have been discouraged from reporting Covid as a cause of death.

“With ongoing efforts to optimise Covid-19 prevention and control measures since November 2022, China’s Covid-19 reaction has made a smooth transition in a relatively short time,” China’s Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) stated in a meeting on Thursday.

It stated China’s efforts resulted in more than 200 million people receiving medical treatment, including roughly 800,000 serious cases.

According to official media, leaders warned that while the situation is better, the virus is spreading globally and mutating.

China would boost senior vaccinations and medical product manufacture, the summit said. According to Xinhua, China’s top leadership council, the PSC, asked all areas and agencies to improve medical services.

The remark came weeks before China’s annual legislature session and as regulators try to restore an economy ravaged by three years of Covid restrictions.

After unprecedented demonstrations, China abruptly ended President Xi Jinping’s zero-Covid policy in December, releasing the coronavirus on a population that had been mostly protected since it surfaced in Wuhan in late 2019.

For months, many countries and the WHO have suspected China of underreporting deaths, with some experts forecasting that Covid might kill at least one million Chinese this year.

The government stated the Covid situation was “minimal” after the Chinese New Year, despite concerns that the enormous flow of travellers would cause an outbreak.

GeoNet received around 31000 earthquake reports in 15 minutes.

China’s three spy balloons in Japan’s airspace are “absolutely intolerable”

The Japanese Defense Ministry provided the most conclusive evaluation of the three previously unknown objects when it indicated they were likely Chinese spy balloons.

According to the ministry’s statement posted on its website late Tuesday, the administration has asked China for confirmation and requested that similar occurrences never happen again. Such airspace violations, which took place in November 2019, June 2020, and September 2021, were described as “absolutely unacceptable” in the statement that followed.

The MOD will keep learning more and keep an eye out for balloons, the ministry said, adding that entering our airspace without authorization, even if it’s a balloon, is a territorial infraction.

Four flying objects have recently been shot down by the US over US and Canadian territory, one of which it claimed to be a Chinese surveillance balloon, rekindling concerns about previously mysterious objects spotted over Japan.

According to US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, the three other dropped objects in North America have not been linked to Chinese espionage and may have been launched for “commercial or benign purpose.”

China has retaliated by alleging that US balloons had flown over its land and has warned its neighbours not to handle such events in the same way as the US. According to Japanese Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada, if the Self-Defense Forces felt that the balloon posed a danger to people or property, they would have the option of shooting it down.

At least 6,000 Ukrainian kids are hold by Russia for “political re-education”

According to Yale University research sponsored by the US, there are around 6,000 Ukrainian minors detained at locations in Russia and Crimea under Russian control.

A “large-scale systematic network” run by Moscow since its invasion of Ukraine has included at least 43 camps and other institutions where Ukrainian children have been detained, according to a report on human rights abuses in Russia.

The study claimed that “political re-education” appeared to be the camps’ main goal. According to the report, the children in the camps included those who had parents or had obvious familial guardianship, those who Russia deemed orphans, others who were under the custody of Ukrainian state institutions prior to the invasion, and those whose custody was ambiguous or uncertain as a result of the war.

According to the study, some of the children were adopted by Russian families or placed in foster care in Russia. It also stated that the youngest child found participating in the Russian programme was only four months old and that other camps were training youngsters as young as 14 in the military.

According to Sky News, one of the researchers, Nathaniel Raymond, stated that the camps’ main function “appears to be political re-education.”

Nathaniel Raymond stated, “What is detailed in this study is a blatant violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Russia would take children who were forced to leave Ukraine, according to the Russian embassy in Washington.

According to Reuters, the embassy stated, “We try our best to retain underage persons with families, and in circumstances of absence or death of parents and relatives – to transfer orphans under guardianship.”

Sri Lanka announce new rule to save elephants

Plastic cutlery, cocktail shakers, and artificial flowers will no longer be produced or sold.
Non-biodegradable plastic bags were outlawed because of worries about flash floods.
Elephants are revered and legally protected, yet over 400 of them perish annually.

Following a string of deaths from plastic poisoning in wild elephants and animals, the government of Sri Lanka announced Tuesday that it would outlaw single-use plastics.

Plastic cutlery, cocktail shakers, and artificial flowers will no longer be produced or sold starting in June, according to Cabinet spokesman and media minister Bandula Gunawardana.

A commission established 18 months ago to investigate the effects of plastic trash on the environment and wildlife recommended the action.

In 2017, non-biodegradable plastic bags were outlawed because of worries about flash floods.

Autopsies revealed that the animals had consumed plastics mixed with food waste before they died.

However, local production and sales of plastic goods continued.

However, Jayantha Jayewardene, the foremost expert on Asian elephants in Sri Lanka, told AFP that the prohibition should also apply to biodegradable plastic bags.

It’s not a good thing that these bags are entering the food chains of elephants and other animals, he said.

In Sri Lanka, elephants are revered and legally protected, yet over 400 of them perish annually due to conflict with people in close proximity to wildlife reserves, along with roughly 50 people.

Jumbos now invade villages in search of food as a result of the habitat loss, and many of them die in agonising ways after hunting for food in plastic garbage dumps.

About five years ago, dozens of wild deer in Trincomalee’s northeastern region perished from plastic poisoning, causing the authorities to outlaw open waste dumping near jungle reserves.
