The Directorate General of Customs Valuation, which works under the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), is the authority responsible for issuing the customs value of new iPhone models under Section 25A of the Customs Act, 1969.

Earlier this year, the directorate released the revised customs values for the iPhone 16 series, including the Pro Max 512GB. The values were updated to match the market rates, where depreciation in prices had been noticed. The revised figures were set after examining different markets to assess the actual prices of mobile phones in the country.

iPhone 16 Pro Max in Pakistan

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is the top model from Apple. It is just as powerful as the iPhone 16 Pro, but the main difference is the screen size. The Pro Max comes with a bigger 6.9-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen and the regular iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch screen.

The device has a Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology and also includes the Always-On display feature. It runs on the A18 Pro chip and is built with a 6-core CPU, a 6-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, which enhances Apple Intelligence even further.

The latest customs value for the iPhone 16 Pro Max with 512GB storage has been set at $1,278, which is equal to Rs356,629 as of 24 September 2025.
