This expected price hike is a result of the new government-imposed royalty rate of 6 percent on the ex-factory price of cement. In Pakistan, the leading industry players include Lucky Cement Ltd, the largest manufacturer, followed by DG Khan Cement Co. Ltd, Attock Cement, Kohinoor Cement, Power Cement, and Dewan Cement.
