Vidya Balan responds to her on-stage mishap during live performance

Vidya Balan is celebrated not only for her incredible talent but also for her professionalism. Recently, she attended an event at The Royal Opera House in Mumbai with the team from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. During a live performance of the new track "Ami Je Tomar 3.0," she stumbled and fell on stage.

Following the incident, Vidya shared a heartfelt video on social media, showing behind-the-scenes clips of her rehearsals and moments in her makeup room before the show.

In her Instagram post, she wrote, “'The show must go on' suna tha, ab nibha bhi liya… (dancing girl emoji) loved every bit of sharing the stage with @madhuridixitnene ji … A big thank you to you for your grace and generosity (folded hands and heart emojis). Thank youuu to @kartikaaryan @aneesbazmee bhai #bhushankumar and @shivchanana for always cheering me on! And of course the biggest Thank you to the audience and to everyone who sent me love on social media and text (heart emoji).”

This performance marked her first live stage show in 12 years, and after receiving applause for her dance with Madhuri, Vidya expressed her joy, saying her dream came true as she always wanted to dance like Madhuri. She also thanked Madhuri for supporting her after her fall.

Fans praised Vidya's performance, with Rohit Saraf calling her “the most graceful ever.” The film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, features a talented cast, including Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri, and is set to release on November 1, 2024.
