Solar panel prices in
Pakistan have reached a historic low of Rs30-32 per watt, marking the most significant decrease in the industry's history.
This substantial price drop is primarily due to an oversupply in the domestic market and a global decline in lithium battery prices, which has also lowered international
solar panel costs.
Over the past year, international lithium battery prices have fallen by nearly 50%, heavily influencing solar panel prices in
Pakistan and leading to a sharp reduction.
However, dry battery prices have remained relatively unchanged, as importers have been hesitant to transfer the cost savings to local consumers.
