The federal government has increased the prices of petroleum products, raising the rates of both petrol and high-speed diesel.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Petroleum, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.63 per liter, taking the new price to Rs335.81 per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been increased by Rs1.55 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs388.38 per liter.
The revised fuel prices were announced through an official notification issued by the Ministry of Petroleum.
According to the notification, the revised fuel prices took effect on July 29.
