In the past month, the cement industry has shown clear signs of growth. Production increased by 7.64%, reaching 2.516 million tonnes in April 2025, compared to 2.337 million tonnes during the same time last year. Cement exports also went up sharply by 34.56%, with 826,457 tonnes shipped in April 2025, compared to 614,214 tonnes in April 2024. This rise in exports shows that demand for
Pakistani cement is growing in international markets.
Overall sales in April 2025 reached 3.342 million tonnes, which is a 13.24% increase from the 2.951 million tonnes sold in April 2024. These numbers indicate that the cement industry is recovering well, with rising demand both within the country and abroad.
