Zayn Malik’s sister speaks out, calls Yolanda and Bella Hadid toxic people

Zayn Malik

Zayn Malik’s sister Safaa Malik has shown support for the brother after his split from girlfriend Gigi Hadid and was accused of striking Yolanda Hadid.

Safaa took to her social media handle to defend the singer and wrote, “Don’t react to toxic people. Not giving them a reaction when they desperately seek it, is far more powerful.”

“FAMILY: We may not have it all together, but together we have it all, I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid. For the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details,” she added.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old artist denied all the allegations of striking his mother-in-law and clear his side on Twitter, he stated, “As you all know I am a very private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up.”

He further added that his “private family matters” have been “thrown on the world stage” by one of Gigi’s family members. “In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to no contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”

“This was, and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press,” Malik went on to add.

“I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more important I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves,” Zayn concluded.

Lovebirds Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid part ways

Gigi Hadid

Power couple Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have parted ways after the singer’s alleged dispute with the model’s mother Yolanda Hadid.

According to sources, both Zayn and Gigi ended their romantic journey one year after welcoming their daughter Khai. They have gone their separate ways, a source said.

“They are not together right now. They are both good parents though,” claims a Hadid family friend.

“They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”

“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,” Gigi’s rep told a magazine in a statement. Sources claim that the split follows allegations that Malik had struck Hadid’s mother.

Hadid’s mom Yolanda had claimed that Zayn struck her when she went to visit Gigi’s home while the latter was away. Yolanda is “seriously considering filing a police report,” reports added.

However, the 28-year-old artist denied all the allegations of striking his mother-in-law. He took to Twitter to clear his side and said: “As you all know I am a very private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up,” the singer said.

The lovebirds first sparked romance rumours in November 2015 and share a 13-month-old daughter Khai together.
