Surprise Day: Ali Gul Pir trolls India by a witty ‘Fantastic Tea Day’ tribute

Ali Gul Pir Fantastic Tea Day

On February 27, Pakistan is celebrating ‘Surprise Day’ as two years back the Pakistan Air Force shot down Indian Air Force’s (IAF) pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman when he had tried to enter Pakistani Air space in his MiG-21 Bison.

Indian pilot Abhinandan was captured by Pakistan Air Force in the Operation Swift retort. Pakistanis showed a good example of hospitality as the Indian pilot was given a ‘fantastic‘ cup of tea and was sent back to India.

The viral ‘Tea was Fantastic’ phrase had garnered an amusing meme fest across South Asia.

However, despite the fact that has been two years since the Balakot airstrike, Pakistani Twitterati believe the tea is still fantastic and the memes keep on pouring in.

Amidst the celebrations of Surprise Day today, rapper Ali Gul Pir jumps right on social media with a humorous tribute to the four trees Pakistan lost in the Balakot airstrike.

Mourning the death of four tress, during his video shot in a forest, Ali Gul Pir’s humour has left the audience rolling with laughter.

“Two years ago we lost four trees in a terrorist attack,” said Ali on Friday. “Here’s my tribute to them.”
