Legendary cricketer Wasim Akram on Saturday bashes the picnickers over leaving the litter behind on Karachi’s Clifton beach.
Wasim Akram again took to social media to express his annoyance over Karachi’s filthy Clifton beach.
The beach had been cleaned up by the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) just a few days ago.
In a recent video on Instagram, “We all should be ashamed [of littering]. I am embarrassed to show this dirty beach to my wife [Shaniera Akram] after it was cleaned just a week ago,” he regretted.
“Everybody complains that Karachi is a dirty city,” he said, asking the people to clean themselves first and then hold the government responsible.
“The first step is to admit that we have a problem and then the process starts,” Akram wrote on Instagram.
Earlier in September, the cricket legend had rued the state of Karachi’s Sea View beach a day after he came back to the city from England.
Wasim Akram had posted a video on his social media after he had found the beach littered with medical waste, shopping bags, and other waste.
