Depp made brief quips during the live ceremony while his visage was digitally inserted into the spaceman’s helmet that served as the model for the VMAs Moon Person statue.

“I needed the work,” the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star joked at the start of the show.

Later in the ceremony, Depp said he was available for “birthdays, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, weddings, wakes, any old thing you need.”

Johnny Depp’s lawyer reacts to his VMAs appearance

Johnny Depp’s former attorney commented on the video of the actor’s presence at the MTV Awards.
He has represented Depp previously during his divorce proceedings.
He was later removed from Depp’s legal team after a judge found out that he was leaking private information.

Adam Waldman, Johnny Depp’s former attorney, was one of several people who commented on the video of the actor’s unexpected presence at the MTV Music Video Awards.

Waldman is a well-known lawyer in America, who also works lobbyist. He has represented Depp previously during his divorce proceedings. He was later removed from Depp’s legal team after a judge found out that he was leaking private information.

The lawyer is one of the few people who Depp is following on Instagram. Camille Vasquez, the lawyer who helped won defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, is not among the people who Depp follows on Instagram.

According to reprots, Vasquez does not use Instagram.

Earlier, the declarant, Laura Divenere, is the one who brought these allegations forward by stating that she was coerced into signing pre-trial declarations.

Ms. Divenere even went so far as to accuse Mr. Waldman of “threaten[ing] her with adverse outcomes if she did not cooperate with him, including the possibility of being charged with perjury if she did not sign the declaration he wanted her to sign.”
