As someone who is almost related to Beckham and Peltz and who has been to three big Jewish weddings (one on my own, two for my daughters), I think I can add my two cents to the debate going on all over the world. Was this wedding knot-tying a show of how much money they spent? Definitely, the answer is in the “yes” direction. Both sides, of course, can afford to pay for the £3-12 million show without cutting back.
So shouldn’t they be able to do the same thing we do for our kids: throw the best parties possible? As you know, Valentino made the dress for the bride.
