Pakistan’s singing sensation Ali Zafar has responded to the recent harassment claims by actor Usman Mukhtar.
Ali Zafar lends support to Usman Mukhtar as he weighs in on the latter’s case. Taking to Twitter, the Jhoom Jhoom singer wrote, “Reminds me of the time I was threatened and blackmailed to back off from a deal with a big beverage company replacing a colleague as a judge for a music show or i “will be destroyed” before the release of my film. Expose them with facts and evidence via due process.”

Director and cinematographer Usman Mukhtar has accused a woman of harassing, blackmailing and intimidating him for a year and a half.
He shared a long post on social media site Instagram titled ‘My Story’ in which he described the incident of harassment by a woman.
“I have been harassed, blackmailed by a woman for more than a year and a half, my family and friends have been harassed and hurtful remarks have been made about them,” the actor wrote.

Mukhtar said in his post that he had lodged a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) regarding harassment, but after a lapse of one and a half year nothing is known. He further added, “My mental health has suffered, my anxiety has been messing with my health because of this person.”
“I had wanted to resolve this quietly, in order to not bring negative attention onto a woman, any woman, but I can’t remain silent in good conscience while my character is constantly being maligned,” he said.
The actor shared a screenshot of the female artist’s message to him but did not mention anything about the woman’s name and identity.
Usman Mukhtar said that he had worked on a music video with a female artist in 2016 and during the entire shoot, there were creative differences regarding his video and they were discussed several times.
