WASHINGTON: Another American Congresswoman issued a statement on the ongoing political tension in Pakistan.

American Congresswoman Linda Sanchez’s important statement along with Dr. Asif Mahmood Pakistani origin leader of the Democratic Party.

Linda Sanchez said US-Pakistan bilateral relationship is very important and based on a strategic partnership.

She said, “We are concerned about the ongoing political confrontation and violence against political activists in Pakistan.”

She said, “I am is with the democratic process and constitutional process in Pakistan.”

Linda Sanchez said political problems should be resolved through dialogue while rule of law, freedom of expression, and human rights should be protected.
