Fans were taken aback when Hollywood actor Johnny Depp attended an old buddy Jeff Beck performance in Sheffield, England on Sunday, taking a break from his ex wife Amber Heard’s defamation trial.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 58, hit the stage in Pittsburgh as Beck began his current European tour, and fans celebrated on social media.
According to witnesses, Depp, who is presently locked in a major court fight with the Aquaman actress, sung his rendition of Isolation, which was originally a John Lennon song and was published by Depp and Beck in 2020.
One Twitter user who shared a video of the event said, “Just got to watch Jeff Beck in Sheffield City Hall, he had a surprise special guest, Johnny Depp!!”
Another exclaimed: “I want to weep because Johnny Depp is in Sheffield!!!!! I’m off on a road trip.”
A third person stated: “Johnny is a complete lunatic…
Johnny Depp is leaving court on Friday and performing with Jeff Beck in Sheffield, UK on Sunday.”
A fourth was as taken aback by his appearance, writing in block caps, “JOHNNY DEPP IS IN SHEFFIELD.”
His visit in the UK would have been a nice distraction from his high-profile legal dispute with his actress former.
