PM Shehbaz Sharif extends warm wishes to UAE government on National Day

PM calls for external audit of Ramadan Relief Initiative

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended heartfelt wishes to the government and people of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on their 53rd National Day.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, he expressed pride in the UAE’s remarkable journey of development and prosperity. He attributed its success to the wisdom and foresight of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Mr. Shehbaz Sharif noted that this vision of innovation has been further advanced by his brothers, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

He emphasized that Pakistan has always been a determined brother and partner to the UAE. He reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen their historical and fraternal ties into a mutually beneficial economic partnership.

The UAE National Day, also known as Eid Al Etihad, is celebrated annually on December 2 to commemorate the formation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971.

This year marks the 53rd anniversary of this significant event. The day is a joyful celebration of the unification of the seven emirates and is marked by various festivities across the country.
