British actress and model Roxy Horner and Jack Whitehall have entered the world of parenthood with the arrival of their first child.

The 32-year-old model gave birth to a baby girl at London’s Lindo Wing in St Mary’s Hospital. Exclusive photos depict her leaving the private hospital on Tuesday evening, accompanied by her partner, 35-year-old comedian Jack Whitehall.

This joyful moment follows Roxy’s challenges with symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) during her final trimester.

The Lindo Wing, known for hosting various Royal births, including The Princess of Wales and her three children, has also been frequented by numerous other celebrities.

This news comes after Roxy, just last week, exuded effortless glamour in a black dress while celebrating her baby shower before the arrival of her first child.

Princess Diana: Remembering the global icon on 23rd death anniversary

Today, on August 31, marks the 23rd death anniversary of the Royal Lady Diana, Princess of Wales.

Fans across the world, are honoring the ‘People’s Princess’ and remembering the legacy she left behind.

However, the long-awaited statue to honour Princess Diana will be installed next year on the late royal’s 60th birthday, July 1, 2021.

According to reports, her sons Prince William and Prince Harry issued a rare joint statement announcing that the statue will stand in the garden of their mother’s former home, Kensington Palace, and help people “reflect on her life and legacy.”

The announcement comes just three days before the 23rd anniversary of Diana’s death in 1997.

Plans for the statue were first announced in February 2017, the year of many commemorations of Diana’s life, as it marked 20 years since she died in a car crash in Paris aged 36.

“The statue was commissioned to mark the twentieth anniversary of her death and recognize her positive impact in the UK and around the world,” the palace said in a brief statement.

“The statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on 1st July 2021, marking The Princess’s 60th birthday,” the statement continues.

“The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy.”

Princess Diana had a fridge full of her own blood to ensure safety

Princess Diana, the most sought-after public figures who had always been under threats throughout her life of crazed fans and starved reporters.

And for that reason, Princess Diana had taken extreme measures to ensure her safety.

According to former private secretary Patrick Jephson, the late princess took a refrigerator filled with her own blood every time she went abroad, in fear of her suffering medical problems or in case she was attacked.

Jephson further told how the rest of security team along with him, had also been tested for their blood types to see if they were a match in cases of emergency.

Apart from Diana, the same practice was also carried out by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.

According to Patrick Jephson, “Particularly when we were abroad or in the developing world, we would carry a little refrigerator full of spare supplies of Diana’s blood.”

“That sure took the glamour out of it. Each of us were tested so the doctors knew which of us could give her blood if she needed it,” he said.

“Diana was quite often under the threat of physical danger. A part of the job that was easy to forget and then you’d get a sharp reminder”, he further added.
