Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has officially joined the cast of South Indian superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s final film before the latter embarks on his political career.
The final film project of Thalapathy Vijay, who recently declared he was switching from acting to politics under the banner of his new party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, is slated to be titled “Thalapathy 69.”
The production house KVN Productions confirmed the news on Tuesday, sharing a post on social media that read, “100% official now, Super happy & excited to announce that @thedeol joins #Thalapathy69 cast.”

Bobby Deol also reacted to the news, sharing his excitement on Instagram, stating that he is “super excited to be a part of the project.”
“Thalapathy 69,” helmed by H Vinoth, is anticipated to be a noteworthy release. Its theatrical debut is slated for October of next year in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. This movie is significant in Vijay’s career because it is his farewell to the film industry, though further information about the remaining cast members is still awaited.
In addition to ‘Thalapathy 69’, Bobby Deol has a string of upcoming films including ‘Kanguva’, ‘NBK109’, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, and a yet-untitled project with Anurag Kashyap.
