Spider-Man 3: Andrew Garfield opens up about his role in the upcoming movie

Andrew Garfield

American actor Andrew Garfield is once again opening up about the possibility of him reprising his role as Spider-Man.

During an interview with international media, The Social Network star, 38, spoke about how fans will never believe him when he says there is currently no possibility of him getting into the Spider Suit once again, for Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I’m a fan as well,” he said.

“You can’t help but imagine scenes and moments of ‘Oh, my God, how [expletive] cool would it be if they did that?'” he said.

“But it’s important for me to say on the record that this is not something I’m aware I am involved in,” he went on to say.

“But I know I’m not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don’t know what’s happening. No matter what I say, I’m [expletive]. It’s either going to be really disappointing for people or it’s going to be really exciting,” he said.

Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer is out?

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the fourth MCU film of the year, set for release on December 17th. But it’ll also be the most important Marvel film of the year, considering what leaks keep telling us.

No Way Home will be the MCU’s first multiverse film with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) helping Spider-Man (Peter Parker) patch up a massive multiverse problem following the events in Loki. But with four months to go until the film’s launch, there’s no official Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer playing in theaters or online.

Meanwhile, some clips from the film are moving around on social media which seems to consider the leaked teaser of the film.

Have a look:

The third film in the “Homecoming”-trilogy will see Peter Parker deal with the aftermath of Quentin Beck outing him as Spider-man, but also to deal with a familiar old foe who has joined a group of “Sinister Six” villains.

It is expected that Sony and Marvel to release at least a teaser for the film by now. But after Loki, we realized that the two studios could not release any Spider-Man 3 footage that would hint at the multiverse. Even after the Loki finale, Sony and Marvel might be doing their best not to confirm the secret most Marvel fans know.
