On Sunday, Saif Ali Khan’s first wife, actress Amrita Singh, and their eldest child, actor Ibrahim Ali Khan, turned 22. The majority of his family members, including actor Kareena Kapoor, Saif’s second wife, sent a heartfelt birthday tribute for him on Instagram.
Kareena shared a vintage photo of Ibrahim with Saif and her two sons, Taimur and Jehangir, on her Instagram Stories. Happy birthday to the loveliest and most attractive boy, she wrote. The photo was taken at Saif’s home during his birthday party the previous year.
Last year, Saba first posted the image with the description “Bebo’s Sons. I just had to post the last picture I found. Iggy’s (Ibrahim) gesture of defense against his two brothers is unmistakable… Mahsha’Allah.”
On Sunday, Saba Ali Khan sent his best to Ibrahim. In her Instagram Stories, she posted a photo of him dressed in a black suit with the caption, “My handsome nephew… Birthday greetings. I cherish you. I am really proud of you since you are a true gentleman! Continue shining!
Soha Ali shared an old photo of her and Ibrahim with her daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Hoping you can take a moment on your birthday to smell the roses, she wrote. Iggy, happy birthday.
Saif has four children—two from his first marriage to Amrita and two from his second marriage to Kareena. Amrita has two children, Sara Ali Khan, 27, and Ibrahim, 22, while Kareena has two sons, Taimur, 5, and Jehangir, 2.
Ibrahim served as the assistant director on the sets of Karan Johar’s next movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani while he is still learning the ins and outs of filmmaking. Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra are the movie’s stars. This year’s July 28 release date is set.
In an interview with Zoom from last year, Saif spoke about Ibrahim’s time spent working on the movie set. “I am delighted that he is working hard and I am worried about his future. I believe he did well in school, and like any parent, I’m full of anxiety about how his future will turn out. Also, he had stated, “At a certain age, you should be unpretentious and straightforward, which I see in young Ibrahim and it’s good.”
