Moto X40 released with Snapdragon 8 Gen, 60-megapixel camera

Moto X40, the next X-series flagship smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, was released in China on Thursday. It features Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, as well as up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. This smartphone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It has a triple rear camera setup with 50 megapixels and a selfie camera with 60 megapixels. It is dust and water-resistant, with an IP68 rating. At the launch ceremony on Thursday, Motorola also introduced its Android 13-based MyUI 5.0.

The freshly released Moto X40 is available for pre-order through the Lenovo China shop. Its entry-level 8GB + 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,399, while the 8GB + 256GB storage option costs CNY 3,699. The 12GB + 256GB storage option costs CNY 3,999, while the top-tier 12GB RAM + 512GB model costs CNY 4,299.
