On Monday, Farah Khan attended an event in Mumbai and got to know Sima Taparia, who plays Sima aunty on the Netflix series Indian Matchmaking. In order to share her shot with Sima, Farah used Instagram Stories. She remarked, “What a great pair we are! It was a pleasure to meet you, Sima Taparia.” Sima was depicted in a black ethnic attire, while Farah was dressed in a blue kurta. When they visited the ceremony together, the two grinned for the camera outside.
Sima posted the identical image to Instagram as well. She referred to a song from the Farah and Shah Rukh Khan movie Main Hoon Na in the post’s description and wrote, “What can I say about the state of my heart after meeting you? (Tumse milke dil ki hai jo haal kya kahein)… Farah Khan, it was wonderful meeting you.” She received a comment from a filmmaker-choreographer saying, “And enjoyed your saunf supari mix (natural mouth freshener mixture).” On a picture of Sima and Farah, a fan jokingly said, “Both have chosen the challenge of matchmaking for Karan Johar’s (filmmaker) drama.”

Sima Taparia cracks jokes during her cameo on Netflix’s Wonderful Lives of Bollywood Wives last year. The well-known matchmaker from Mumbai made an appearance in one of the episodes as she tried to find a compatible match for Seema Sajdeh (previously known as Seema Khan), who appears on the show along with Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, and Bhavana Pandey. Seema Sajdeh is a former contestant named Seema Khan. After posting pictures of herself and Sima to Instagram, Seema captioned the post, “When we agree to disagree.”
Sima addressed the criticism that her Netflix series Indian Matchmaking had received during its final two seasons in an interview from last year. She claimed that for a play to succeed, both positive and negative reviews are crucial. Aparna Shewakramani, who appeared on the show, was seen securing dates on her own after first labeling Sima as “difficult” after the first season. Sima had remarked about her at the Sahitya AajTak 2022, “Aparna is obstinate. Fewer matches are offered to you if you are resistant. On the show, that is what took place. Watch the requirements carefully. You might not receive matches if your criteria are too extensive.”
At the ceremony, Sima also announced that there would be a third season of her Netflix series “Season 3 will be released soon. Netflix plans to make an announcement soon. It is fully prepared. Within a few months, it will be released.”
