We have seen these cliches in many of our favourite romantic comedies and dramas, but for Shahood Alvi and his wife Saima Shahood, it is their everyday reality.
When the pair appeared as guests on Nida Yasir’s morning show, they revealed their adorable and lovely love story. Shahood revealed that he met Saima when he was 14 and his wife was 13 and that they fell in love right away for him.
Shahood used to travel to Saima, a neighbour of his friend, for group study. He made the decision to marry her after seeing her. The very next day, Shahood Alvi informed his father that he had discovered his soul mate. Being just 14 years old, his father initially did not take him seriously, but he later asked his mother to go check who he was referring to. At that point, his mother informed Saima’s mother that their daughter would soon become our daughter-in-law by visiting Saima’s home. Even though it initially shocked Saima Shahood’s mother, the rest is history as they say.
Shahood Alvi is a Pakistani TV actor, director, and producer who was born in Multan. Since 1994, he has contributed to Pakistani television programmes.
He began his career in the TV industry as a sound mixer’s assistant. He has contributed to drama serials and movies on numerous television networks. Areeba Shahood Alvi, Sajal Shahood, and Areeja Shahood are three of his daughters from his marriage to Samia Alvi.
