According to a study done by scientists, “mobile phones are carrying more dangerous germs and bacteria similar to that of human faeces and toilets” that are transferred when individuals touch their phones and then contact other objects with the same hands, according to The Sun.
According to a SellCell study, “food poisoning germ Bacillus cereus and pneumonia-causing S aureus were also discovered on each of the 20 swabs obtained from 10 phones,” in addition to the fact that “E.Coli and Faecal Streptococci were found on 100% of smartphone screens.” But, despite the fact that everyone washes their hands to remove viruses and microbes, a study has shown how filthy and germ-filled mobile phones can be, with bacteria resembling cockroaches and human faeces hiding on the gadgets.
The study examined the mobile phone screens of eight women and four men, all between the ages of 22 and 62. Sarah McConomy, COO of SellCell, stated that the company was interested in identifying prevalent strains of dangerous bacteria on mobile devices.

According to the study, P.aeruginosa was also discovered that came from cockroaches, suggesting that cockroaches may have been hiding on cell phones.
According to experts, using a phone in the bathroom can expose it to germs in just five minutes because when you flush, bacteria become airborne. The study concluded that we are probably transmitting these viruses to other areas of our daily life.
