American pop singer Rihanna, who became the richest woman with a net worth of $1.7 billion, has withdrawn her entire lawsuit against her father Ronald Fenty just two weeks before they were set to appear in court.
Rihanna, who prosecuted her father for using the family name to expand his venture Fenty Entertainment in 2019, told the court she was dropping her lawsuit against her father.
The singer had taken judicial action against her father in 2019, alleging he was seeking profit from her fame with a business partner, Moses Perkins.
Rihanna has her own venture named Fenty Beauty, which offers make-up and facial products.
Although he and her mother Monica parted ways when Rihanna was 14, he has remained close to his daughter and her brothers Rorrey and Rajad.
She also helped her father after he contracted coronavirus last year, sending him a ventilator and checking in on him on a daily basis, media reports said.
