Sharjah: School Timings Limited To Five Hours During Ramadan

Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has intended to limit the school timings ahead of Ramadan 2021 between 3 to 5 hours.

According to the details, schools should not commence before 9 am in Sharjah while working hours should not be less than three hours and not more than five hours, SPEA added.

The SPEA further added, “Schools should reduce homework, projects and tests if needed to ensure these timings and working hours are maintained.”

Moreover, the Holy month of Ramadan is all set to begin from April 12 or 13, depending on the sighting of the new moon.

On the other hand, Sheikh Professor Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais as the management representative of Masjid-e-Nabawi detailed the schedule of plans for worshippers.

According to media reports, Masjid-e-Nabawi will reopen two hours before Fajr prayers and close half an hour after Taraweeh prayers.

However, except during the last ten days of Ramadan, when the mosque will be open for 24 hours.
