  • Punjab Wildlife is set to take legal action against Rajab Butt.
  • Rajab failed to comply with a court order.
  • He was instructed to raise public awareness of wildlife protection.

Punjab Wildlife officials are preparing to take legal action against YouTuber Rajab Butt for failing to comply with a court order to produce monthly wildlife conservation videos.

The court had instructed Butt to create a video every month during the first week of the year to raise public awareness on wildlife protection.

However, Rajab has not shared any videos or used the materials provided by the Punjab Wildlife Department. Officials expressed frustration over Butt’s non-compliance, stating that they had no option but to pursue legal measures. “We will inform the court and request appropriate action against Rajab Butt,” officials confirmed.

Rajab Butt, who previously came under scrutiny for illegally keeping a lion cub as a wedding gift, was fined and tasked with producing wildlife awareness videos. He opted to use his social media platform to promote wildlife conservation. Despite this commitment, he missed the deadline for his first video in February, prompting wildlife officials to seek further legal intervention to enforce the court’s order.

Rajab’s failure to fulfill his obligation has now led to mounting pressure from the authorities, who are determined to ensure that the court’s directives are followed.
